Every light, every sound, every dashboard capability, and every luxury your vehicle comes with operates because of your vehicle’s electrical system. It is so important that being an automotive electrician is a concentration one can pick when studying and training to become a technician. But how much of your vehicle’s electrical system do you understand? For instance, did you know that your car’s battery is your vehicle’s sole power source until the starter and alternator help engage the engine? It’s true. Your battery provides the power necessary to the starter, which in turn kicks in the alternator, which returns that energy to your vehicle in the form of the power it needs to run stably.
